Special Containment Procedures:

Description: SCP-XXXX is the Blakesley House, a historic home located in Blue Earth, Minnesota. It was originally built in 1893 for Randolph Blakesley, a Icelandic immigrant and businessman. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 for its significance to local architectural themes.

At irregular intervals, the current "head" of the SCP-XXXX household will be affected by a Sunktokca event. Sunktokca events fall into one of three types:

  • Type A: During a Type A event, a close relative, friend, or role model of the subject will die of non-natural causes. No additional patterns have been observed in terms of the causes of death. Funerals held after a Type A event consistently have few attendees excluding the subject.
  • Type B: During a Type B event, the subject will lose fifteen percent or more of their net worth over the course of one week or less. In no known cases has a subject's net worth increased past its amount prior to the event.
  • Type C: During a Type C event, the subject will become ill. The severity of illness varies, but consistently causes significant damage to at least one of the subject's organs. In approximately thirty percent of Type C events, this illness becomes terminal, and thus indirectly initiates a variant of a Type A event.

Notable Sunktokca events are listed below.
