Research & Biological Containment Area-386.

Specialized Containment Procedures: SCP-4986 is currently contained in a 15x15x15 y2 metal containment chamber at Research & Biological Containment Area-386.

Area-386 is located on the ███████████ River in Panama and specializes in the containment of Theros-class anomalous entities. No less than ██ chambers have been prepared for this purpose, and more are scheduled to arrive at a later date.

Following the incident on 3/18/████, video logs are to be monitored for SCP-4986-A.

Anomaly Description: SCP-4986 is a circular pattern illustrated upon a piece of parchment. It is exactly 20 meters2 in circumfrence.

The pattern itself appears to have been drawn in human blood, whereas the parchment is made of [DATA EXPUNGED]. Despite this, it somehow remains solid. Research into the parchment's other physical properties is ongoing.

SCP-4986 depicts a series of events, which correspond with the effects of contact with biological matter1, however, in all depictions, a strange black figure is present above.

The figure, labelled as SCP-4986-A, was reportedly spotted during testing on 3/18/████ by Researcher Albert ███████. He was interviewed following the incident, as no video logs were available at the time.

SCP-4986's containment procedures were updated accordingly following the events, and archaeological research into SCP-4986's history is ongoing.

Addendum: SCP-4986 was included in the 2019 Operation Theros roster.
