Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the significant number of individual repositories, total containment is not possible at this time. However, Foundation Mobile Task Force Mu-4 ("Debuggers") has successfully contained the GitHub associated with SCP-XXXX and has assumed the mechanical role of the hub's management.

Foundation web crawler has been created to identify any links, forum posts, HTML code comments, or white text which references the address of SCP-XXXX and will remove any flagged information.

At this time, the approval of any and all submissions to the primary GitHub of SCP-XXXX are to be summarily denied by the project manager. Any branches to be merged into the primary repository are to obtain Ethics Committee approval prior to implementation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous series of Git repositories and their central GitHub which are capable of self-improvement via merged branches of code. Through currently unknown means, individual local Git repositories become irrevocably corrupted and will submit any code developed within to both the originally intended location and the primary anomalous GitHub of SCP-XXXX. Collection of this data by the object relies upon both the manual generation of code and an external network connection capable of resolving public IP addresses. Repositories infected in this manner are designated as SCP-XXXX-1.

The criteria and circumstances in which an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is generated or becomes infected are presently unknown. SCP-XXXX has yet to demonstrate any identifiable pattern to selection other than the computer possessing an instance of Git.

Once code from an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is submitted, the central Hub of SCP-XXXX will ingest the code and merge it into the object's primary branch.
