Description

SCP-1959-EX is the designation for the Kwangmyŏngsŏng-5 spacecraft created by the National Aerospace Development Administration2 and the 3 crew members on board designated SCP-1959-A-EX through SCP-1959-C-EX. SCP-1959-EX was launched by NADA on 22/07/2035 as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's first manned space exploration.

Due to SCP-1959-EX using a gravitational slingshot3 on Earth's moon to achieve speeds that are unprecedented for technology from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the object achieved classification on 28/07/2035. SCP-1959-EX then left the inner solar system on 17/08/2035 and when it was seen using another gravitational slingshot on the Jovian moon of Callisto. On 24/08/2035, was seen entering Saturn's rings for reasons unknown. Around this time, several morse code messages, assumed to have been created by an instance of SCP-1959-AEX, originated from SCP-1959-EX before all signals stopped on 31/08/2035.

ETF-07 "Cygnet Committee" investigating SCP-1959-EX on Titan

SCP-1959-EX was then not seen again until 02/12/2037 during the construction of Extraterrestrial Site-97 when the wreckage of it was seen on the surface of Saturn's moon Titan. Inside of SCP-1959-EX were the remains of three SCP-1959-A instances. The instances of SCP-1959-A could not be identified due to heavy decomposition
